  • The Riksbank has the possibility to redeem all invalid Swedish banknotes, regardless of their age. For invalid banknotes sent in after 1 September 2026, the administration fee will be raised from the current SEK 200 to SEK 300 per application. This is being done to cover the administrative costs of handling the cases.
